A process-oriented endeavor, design is not bound to aesthetics, but rather, to the designers’ ability to devise the most appropriate solution within the given context. The designer is one who creates from an understanding of the system from which the designed artifact will live. She/he embraces ambiguity and possesses a collaborative mindset that fosters creativity which the intended audience will latently benefit from.
